About David Hilton and Out of Conflict

Out of Conflict Mediation is based in Morpeth, Northumberland and provides a nationwide service to clients. In addition to providing an appropriate dispute resolution service, Out of Conflict also provides training workshops and seminars on conflict resolution (for full details, see below).

As founder of Out of Conflict, David Hilton is a nationally Accredited Mediator with over ten years' experience. As a founder member of a local community mediation service, he served as Chair of its Management Committee for over two years and then as its Co-ordinator. He was a longstanding member of the former Mediation UK Education and Youth Steering Committee. David spent time in Northern Ireland studying conflict resolution with the Education for Mutual Understanding programme in schools and communities there. Subsequent specialist training has enabled Out of Conflict to be contracted in to provide conciliation nationally in respect of the Disability Discrimination Act and regional casework in victim/offender fields of restorative justice.
